Are you a beginner, or do you just want to start running everyday to make yourself stronger?

Imposing such a regime on yourself sometimes has consequences. Despite that, you should be aware that there are many advantages to such a resolution. So, is it ok to run everyday? What are the benefits of running every day? Are there any cons? In this article, you will find out about everything you need to know! Check it out!

There is no clear-cut answer to the question: “Can I run everyday? Is it possible?”. Of course, it depends on your body, training, diet, and your condition.

If you are a beginner, I am sure that you will find these articles helpful in everyday training sessions 😉 Are you ready?

Benefits of running every day

If you are still wondering if is it ok to run everyday, look at the list of benefits:

  • A daily peaceful run will strengthen your musculoskeletal system,
  • You will test your determination and motivation,
  • You can prepare your body for harder exercises,
  • You can lose weight and burn calories, thanks to that you can achieve the body of your dreams,
  • You will improve your mood – because during running the body produces endorphins or the happiness hormone,
  • You will exercise willpower,
  • your brain will work better – it will be more oxygenated,
  • Daily running is also a workout for the strength of character,
  • thanks to daily running, you will learn consistency in your actions,

You have to keep in mind that there are bound to be days when you don’t feel like training. Remember that it’s nothing terrible. You also need to prepare for the fact that the weather will not always be nice and sunny. You will probably have to run in the rain and other unfavorable weather conditions. Disadvantages of running everyday

  • You can get into an addiction to running. When you don’t go running at least once, you will feel bad about it and think the day is lost without running,
  • Over-tiredness will make you feel bad and also make your progress decrease instead of increase,
  •  Your body doesn’t have enough time to recover. It may also be overtired, in which case it will easily succumb to injury,

Remember to listen to your body. Don’t overtrain yourself, as this can lead to severe injuries that may keep you from running for months to come. Sometimes it’s a good idea to skip training, relax and rest. The most important thing is your health.

Is it ok to run everyday? – who can do it?

As you might have noticed above, there are a lot of benefits on running every day. If you are a beginner, then it will be very difficult for you to start running everyday. Why? Because your body is not strong enough for such tiresome training. This is why you should first prepare your body for this kind of exercise. But it is also important to know if you can run everyday in general. If you want to be sure, there are a few points:

  • When, after a certain amount of training, you are sturdy enough to know that you can exercise at a higher intensity
  • You know how to adjust the intensity of your workout to your mood on a given day.
  • Choose the time when you will train. It’s not just about the time of day, but also the length and intensity. You may decide to run every day for 3-4 weeks. You will see if you continue to be motivated and have the desire to run every day,
  • When you know you should let go, due to poor well-being or illness,
  • If you are going to train under the supervision of a trainer,
  • When you have strength because you have slept through the night and can be ready for the next challenges and exercises.

When you can’t run everyday?

You shouldn’t run every day if you don’t have time to rest and if you sleep poorly at night. This can affect your training and how your body responds to the exertion.

You shouldn’t run every day if you eat unhealthily and irregularly. Moreover, keep in mind that daily running is not as important as your other responsibilities. Therefore, if you have a lot of responsibilities and stress, you should skip the daily effort of running.

Also, remember to get yourself examined and take a blood test. Why is this so important? Then you will know if everything is fine if you can exercise every day and if you have any diseases that do not allow you to run every day, such as anemia.

Everyday running – where to start and how to do it?

Can I run everyday? If you know that you can do this, and you want to do it, familiarize yourself with the following points:

1. GOAL

If you want to achieve something, it is important to have a goal. That way, you are more motivated and know what you are aiming for. Therefore, in this case, too, you should set a clear goal, for example, how many weeks you want to run every day. It’s also a good idea to take proper measurements of your body before you start training. If you want to lose weight, measure yourself at the waist and hips. What is more, weigh yourself! If you see what effects running has on your body every day, you will feel even more motivated. Be sure to set a big goal and smaller ones that you can slowly achieve.

2. TRAINING PLAN

With such a plan, you will know what exercises and goals await you. What’s more, you’ll know when to prepare for a leisurely workout, and when to give it your all and decide to exercise harder.

3. NOTES

With your notes, you will know how much progress you are making and what made you motivated to go outside. Sometimes there are times when you don’t have the energy to do anything. That’s when you can look at your notes and get motivated. This is beneficial to the process of the whole training.

4. COMFORTABLE SHOES

Comfortable shoes are a must if you want to run every day. Why? Because they provide comfort and make every step enjoyable. If you start running and want to buy new shoes, don’t do it. Remember never to run in new shoes. If you do, you may get blisters and irritation on your feet.

5. A PROFESSIONAL COACH

If you can’t put together a plan on your own, or you simply want to exercise well but have no idea where to start, consult a personal trainer. Such a person will show you how to exercise properly so that after some time you will be able to run without any problems. Such people also know how to motivate you. It is worth taking such advice.

How long can you run every day?

If you want to run everyday remember not to do not overwork your body. You probably work or have some other tasks during your day. If you decide to make it a point to run every day, then try to make your workouts no longer than 30 minutes. Training for too long can lead to injury and overtraining of the body. This is something you certainly don’t want to lead to.
